John and Kate were pained because she had an misscarriage with their third baby, so they go to an orphanage to adopt a child. In that place, they found a smart, calm child and accepted the child. Their dream is happy home.
But Esther is not the kind child that they thought. After Esther joins the family, it seems that the children are concealing something. Kate feel strange atmosphere.
Because a question arises around Ester continuly and the son is at a crisis, Kate doubts about the case increased. Finally Kate who is trailing the Ester's past find out a shocking truth.

A subject matter is unusual. The movie was full of thrills from beginning to end.
Isabelle Fuhrman gave a wonderful performance.
